It's brilliant and is one of my favourite Ghibli movies. I highly recommend it!!! Lots of pretty sea-planes, fight sequences and is very funny and heartfelt in parts.

Studio Ghibli and the composers made a wonderful world as seen/felt by children, while showing daily struggles, but the strong emotions and relationships make it all worthwhile.
Personally i love ghibli and lofi, listened to almost every ghibli lofi playlists from RUclips and this playlist is where I always come back to. I even love the thumbnail - reminds me of Porco Rosso !

After watching this video I went to watch porco rosso, what a enjoyable film, I feel it isn't so mentioned as the other ones. I would say is very enjoyable equal or better than Kiki's Delivery Service, maybe even one of my favorites since I didn't had much expectation. Is Easy to watch and has a better pacing than other Miyazki's work like My Friend Totoro which can be a bit too slow.
In my opinion, Porko's curse was based of his greed, as he only cared about himself. Toward the end, though, he did something selfless. And the mechanic lady told the audience that it was a secret. Porko likely reverted back into a human, but wanted to lead a simpler life. One without dogfights, war, and murder. We was off the grid. It was his chance to live the life he'd always wanted.
